Melissa's Symphony
Classical music and Cape Cod just seem to go together perfectly. The melody of the ebb and flow of the waves and the soft breezes are the muse to our many resident musicians and artists. The young woman who was kind enough to model for me on the beach is an accomplished violinist and played softly while I sketched and photographed her. It was one of the most ethereal images in my memory. As I painted in my studio putting the finishing touches on this composition I could still hear her delicate strings in the background.
